If dainty desserts are your thing, be sure to check out Arteastiq for its exquisite high tea sets, sure to please the palettes and provide the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends. Signature (2 pax) and Deluxe Teasery (1 pax) comes with a choice of 8 sweet/savoury morsels each. Note: You can even add some bubbly (p.s. champagne) if you feel like it.

2. MAKE MERRY WITH MEATLESS MORSELS
Focusing on fusion cuisine, this modern vegetarian restaurant under Koufu Group introduced a new high tea menu this year, which comes with a choice of Teh Susu or Kopi Susu. Expect colourful nyonya kuehs, savoury tarts and even vegetarian version of ever popular fried mantous in chilli crab gravy. (Note that dish selections might vary according to ingredients available)

3. HIGH TEA, THE SINGAPORE WAY
Hosting your overseas buddy? No better time to wear your love for SG on your sleeves and hop over to Baker’s Brew for a local-inspired buffet treat at Baker’s Brew, which serves up a tempting array of finger food such as Bak Kwa Scones, Chwee Kueh Puff, Pulut Hitam Cake, Kaya Butter Tart and more in the (somewhat cheesily) named ‘Uniquely Singapore High Tea Set. Even the drinks are infused with familiar flavours – check out Lemongrass Pandan Brew and Honey Roselle Brew (limited to 2 beverages for each person).

5. CHI-CHI HIGH TEA, NYONYA-STYLE
What better way to round up an enriching museum trip than with a culinary experience from doyenne of Singapore cooking, Violet Oon? A crossover of flavourful Peranakan ingredients with well-loved local delights, let the likes of Otak Crostini, Nasi Kuning Serunding and Kueh Lapis Sago tingle your tastebuds on the Singapore High Tea set.

5. SIP TEA LIKE A TAI TAI

And all amidst the flora displays at the famed flower dome conservatory.

8. HIGH TEA SURPRISES FROM A FRIENDLY STRANGER

Sweet encounters in a stranger’s home

Always wanted a private dining experience without the noise of chatty diners and annoying kids? This might just the place for you. Held in the comfort of the host’s 15-storey apartment, enjoy a high tea experience inspired by culinary influences from host Chris’ travels. Be sure to check out their Vietnamese Grilled Pork Wrap, Eggplant Neapolitan and signature dumplings in flavours such as Tom Yum and fermented bean. Tiered nibbles include 3 sweet and 3 savoury items.
